Grilling for nykommere - Barbeque 101
The man and I have no relationship to barbequing except from the fact that we own one. It was bought at the local gas station for at least six years ago, and after that it has been collecting dust on top of the wardrobe cupboard. Since I'm giving that room a makeover, it was exciled to a hidde nplace in a cupboard. We've intensivated the widh of using it lately, and toda, when the weather forecast was absolutely wrong, it finally came out. The surroundings aren't bad, are they? That is actually the view from our veranda :-)
Mannen var grillsjef (selvsagt) og konsulterte både den ene og andre sida på Internett. Han ble litt bekymret da mesterkokk Bent Stiansen dømte opptenningsvæske nord og ned. Det var tross alt det eneste som var i hus. Men grillen fikk fyr og etter ei stund var det tid for å grille ventepølse (!?!)
The Man was chef de barbeque (of course) and consulted lots of pages on the Internet. He became a bit worried when master chef Bent Stiansen condemned lighter fluid. It was the only thing we had. But the grill was lit and after a while it was time for waiting sausage (!?!)
Det blir ikke siste gang vi griller. Dette var deilig! - It's not the last time we're barbequeing. This was delicious!
