Bruktkupp - secondhand scoop

Jeg er stadig på jakt etter en krakk maken til min svigermors, så da vi kjørte forbi en bruktbutikk i byen i går, foreslo jeg at vi kunne stikke innom for å se. Krakk hadde de ikke, men det vi fant var disse BBB-reolene. 450 kroner var de priset til. FIREHUNDREOG FEMTI! En rask sjekk på prislista fra 2006 viser at nypris er over 5000 kroner. Det kunne ikke passet bedre for oss, ettersom vi faktisk har tenkt å kjøpe nye hyller. De vi har er allerede fulle, og bunkene med bøker uten et "hjem" vokser stadig.

Nå skal jeg gå løs på skapet og en hylleseksjon med sandpapir og maling. Hyllene er ganske pent behandlet, så det er ikke mye jobb som må til. Håndtakene skal byttes ut med knotter, og endelig skal printeresken, som i dag fungerer som bord for kaffemaskinen, forsvinne ut av kjellerstuen. Oppdatering følger.... :o)

I'm constantly looking for a stool like my mother-in-law's, so when we drove by a second hand shop yesterday I suggested that we should stop and take a look inside. We didn't find a stool, but we found these bookcases. 450 NOK was the price. That's SEVENTYSEVEN POINT FOURTYTWO US DOLLARS! The only price list I found was from 2006, and if I had bought them new then, I would have to give more than ten times the price I paid. The timing couldn't have been more perfect, since we're looking for new bookcases. Those we have are already filled up, and the piles of books without a "home" are constantly growing. 

Now I'll work on the cupboard and one bookcase with sanding paper and paint. The shelves are in quite good condition, so it's not too much job. The handles will be replaced with new knobs, and finally the printer box, which serves as table for the coffee machine at the moment, will be exciled from the basement living room.
