As I wrote in the last post, I found some fabulous yarn in Tromsø. In a basket next to the entrance there was a beautiful brown yarn which was the softest I've ever felt. I was in a hurry and bought the the only hank I found. The yarn came form Uruguay and is a mix of merino wool and silk. The lady in the shop said it was enough to make a scarf, and I started right away.
Unfortunately the lady wasn't right. My tension is much tighter than expected for this yarn, so it would not finish as a useful scarf . The Man had decided that this project was going to be a gift for a friend of him, so I had to find a solution. Luckily I had some Daletta in matching colours in the cupboard, so finally it became a scarf. The man hesitated a bit about the combination, but as long as I'm satisfied, he also is, so the scarf will be found under a Christmas three next week.
