Jeg greide det! - I did it!

I've always been meaning that there are enough idiots driving car on the road without me out there as well. Most of those as old as I got their driver's licence more than 25 years ago, but I haven't felt for it. The last 10 years I've lived 20 kilometres outside the town where I work. It has demanded some planning (plus a nice Man) to get everything running smoothly, but I've been satisfied with the situation though.

Last year I realised that I had to take the driver's licence. A lot of freelance work as a journalist besides my job was too demanding to rely on the Man always having the time to drive me, so in April last year I started to take driving lessons. I haven't had lots of lessons, I've just used long time. The theory exam was passed in November, and today it was time to take the practical test. The warm up to the test wasn't the best (I'll tell that story later), but after driving around in and nearby Harstad for an hour, the examinator was satisfied. I can now take myself into town, and I can drive the car which has been 50% mine for many years, Maybe it's time to implement a new traffic sign?

  1. Congratulations! That sign is too funny. There probably ought to be one with my picture on it in my town too. I'm looking at getting my motorcycle license this summer so that we can drive scooters, and your story calms my nerves. Good work and thank you!
