Paris dag 2 fortsatt - Paris day 2 continued

Etter at vi forlot Chaillot, begynte det å regne. Vi søkte tilflukt på en bstro på Place de Trocadero for en forfriskning og en hvil. Dagen gled mot kveld og vi bestemte oss for å bevege oss i retning hotellet. Underveis passerte vi Palais de Tokyo, som huser et museum for samtidskunst. Ved inngangen kom vi over denne tellemekanismen som visstnok teller ned til solas ende. Kunstneren navn fikk jeg ikke med meg, og siden nettverket på hotellet der vi bor er seriøst sakte, kan jeg i skrivende stund ikke fortelle hvem som stå bak dette kunstverket.

After we left Chaillot, it started to rain. We refugeed at a bistro at place de Trocadero for a refreshment and a rest. The day turned to nightand we decided to move towards the hotel. On our we we passed Palais de Tokyo which hosts a museum of contemporary arts. At the entrance we spotted this clockwork which counts down to the end of the sun. I didn't get the name of the artist, and since the nerwork at the hotel is incredibly slow, I can not as I'm writing report who's responsible for the art.

Da vi ankom pont d'Iena, var lysene slått på på Eiffeltårnet. Det innbød til lek med kameraet og her er det foreløpig beste resultatet fra leken. Vi fortsatte langs Seinen helt til vi kom til Grand Palais igjen, og bak palasset fant vi en bistro som serverte deilige lammekoteletter. Vi stoppet også i Disney-storen på Champs-Elyssées, hvor vi kjøpte litt presanger og slikt, før vi avsluttet kvelden på Place St. Augustin, som ligger like ved hotellet vårt.

Nå er det tid for å ta inn dagens bilder og skrive et resymé for min egen del, slik at jeg kan fortelle om besøket i Versailles ved neste anledning. A bientôt!

When we arrived at pont d'Iena, the lights had been turned on at the Eiffel Tower. That inspired us both to play with the camera, and here is the result of the play so far. We continued along the Seine all the way to Grand Palais, and behind the palace we found a bistro whoch served great amb chops. We also stopped at the Disney store on Champs Elyssées where we bought presents and such, before we ended the night at place St. Augustin, which is quite close to our hotel.


Now it's time to load today's photos and write my own resume, so I can tell you about our visit in the Versailles at the next occation. a bientôt!
